"Hey, what was this 'strange thing' you wanted to show us?" Darcy asked as she and her friends all walked into a room, with nothing but a mirror in the center of it.
"I found something yesterday. I was sitting here, finishing some homework, when a little note came shooting out of this mirror, I swear it!" Naiara exclaimed, pointing at the mirror.
"Do you have the note?" Zeniba asked her.
"Yeah, it's here." Naiara said, pulling it out of her bag which was sitting lopsided on the floor.
"Ooh! What does it say?" Tabitha asked excitedly, jumping up and down on the spot.
"It says 'friends from another dimension, we are meeting you here tomorrow.'" Naiara read out.
"People? From another world? But there's only us!" Darcy exclaimed. "I wonder what they look like."
"Maybe they have three eyes!" Tabitha said cheerfully.
"Or they could be more advanced into the future." Fi suggested.
"Whatever they are, they're coming to Canterlot High, today." Naiara said, looking in the mirror. "But...when?"
Suddenly the mirror started glowing brightly, when someone fell out and on top of Naiara.
"Ow...my head..." The person muttered.
"Ugh...what was that?" Naiara blinked a few times before looking at the person. He was slightly taller than her, he had aqua colored skin, and was wearing a pink and cream hoodie, with cream trousers and pink shoes. He had bright orange hair, which was in a similar style to Naiara's, except that it was frizzy. His eyes were bright green, too.
Strange...he looks like a male version of me..., Naiara thought.
Wait a minute.
"What the-!" Naiara tried to stand up.
"Holy-" The boy stood up, letting Naiara finally scramble up.
"You look just like me!" He yelled.
"But...you look like me! Except you're not me, or are you?" Naiara said, confused at the thought.
"You're me..but a girl!" He said.
"Woah, this is strange!!" Tabitha yelled cheerfully. She ruffled his hair. "A boy version if my best friend Naiara!"
"But...my name isn't Naiara...it's Nathan." He said to her.
"...Your name is Nathan?" Naiara looked at him.
"Yeah. You're Naiara then?" Nathan looked at her.
"You got that right..." Naiara thought for a moment. "By any chance do you have any more friends which look like mine?"
Nathan looked at them for a moment. He nodded.
The mirror glowed brightly again before someone else stepped out.
"Hey dude, Nathan, you OK?" He said, looking around. That was when his eyes caught Darcy.
"Hey, awesome!" Darcy exclaimed.
The boy had black skin like Darcy, and red and black hair, too. He was wearing a red shirt with dark blue shorts, and red shoes. His eyes were red, too. He was also wearing red sweatbands on his wrists.
"I knew there was a male version o' me out there somewhere, but I didn't think I could look awesome in more than one dimension!" Darcy grinned. "Darcy. Your name is..?"
"Dennis, dude." He said with a smirk.
"Please tell me ya have a twin brother who loves pink?" Darcy asked him.
"Sure. What, you have a twin sister?" Dennis said, looking at Tabitha.
The mirror glowed brightly again, and more boys stepped out of the mirror.
"There's my twin brother, Toby." Dennis said with a smile.
"I totally cannot believe it! This is the best day EVER!!" Tabitha yelled, examining her gender-bent self.
He had light pink skin, and pink eyes and hair. He was wearing a pink sweater, with pink trousers and pink shoes.
"This is so cool! I never thought there would be a girl of me!" Toby grinned.
Whilst Tabitha and Toby were giggling and laughing with each other, Fi had bumped into her male self.
"Oh! Sorry." Fi said.
"No, it's my fault." He said with a gloomy tone, just like Fi had.
he had snow-white skin, and teal hair. He had a grey, long sleeved shirt on, with teal trousers. His shoes were also grey and teal shoes too. His eyes were blue.
"Oh, my name is Fi." Fi smiled lightly.
"I'm Felix." He replied with a lopsided smile.
Betty's male self had light green skin, and lime eyes. He had purple hair, with the same colored streaks Betty had. He was wearing a purple and light yellow jumper, with lavender shorts and purple shoes.
"Say, you study portals to other worlds by any chance?" He asked Betty.
"Why yes, I do!" Betty smiled. "Oh, my manners have gone-I'm Betty."
"Name's Benny." He smiled.
Zeniba's male counterpart had grey skin, with pink eyes. He had short black and pink hair, and he was wearing a grey and pink striped shirt. He had pink trousers, and pink and grey shoes. He had pink sweatbands on his wrists.
"Hey, you like dragons?" Zeniba smirked.
"Hells yes." He replied. "Name's Zephyr."
The counterparts had a good conversation to see how much they had in common.
Until she appeared in the room.
"What is going on?" She asked. She glared at each of the counterparts, and burst out laughing.
"What are you doing with THEM? Are you dating yourself now?!"
"Oh, great. Just like Charlie." Nathan muttered.
"Charlie? Who's Charlie?" Chloe said, tilting her head.
The mirror glowed bright again, and yet another boy stepped out the mirror.
"Hey dudes, looks like you hooked up with yourself!" He burst out laughing.
"Oh boy. Just like Chloe." Naiara rolled her eyes.
"Oh yeah, would you care to meet the bitch of your former self?!" Darcy yelled, pointing at Chloe.
Charlie had purple skin, and blue eyes. He had blonde locks of hair, and he wore a black and red shirt with red shorts. He had short red socks on and black shoes.
"Wha-what?!" Charlie glared at Chloe.
"What?! And I am most certainly not a bitch, Darcy!" Chloe yelled.
Charlie and Chloe had a good long argument with each other...over who was the best.
"...You really just should not have showed up." Naiara muttered to Nathan.
"What? We were curious." He replied.
"FINE!" Chloe yelled.
"FIIINE!!" Charlie yelled. Charlie stormed back into the mirror, whilst Chloe stormed out of the room.
"...Wow." Darcy smirked.
"Best argument I've seen out of him ever." Felix muttered.
"Best argument we've seen out of her ever." Zeniba smiled.
"We should probably...go." Nathan pointed to the mirror. "We can talk again, though."
"Yeah, just go for now. See us again soon or whatever." Naiara said, pushing them all back into the mirror.
